Sweepstakes Restriction Rules #1
By Richard Jones
Enter Any Sweepstakes Online – Sweepstakes Restriction Rules #1 I’m starting a new series about online sweepstakes. I found that entering online sweepstakes is fun and profitable. The more time you have to enter sweepstakes the better chance you have of winning. However, I realize that time can be a precious commodity to many of us, so in the series I’ll show you ways to automate process and bring in big winnings. The first step in entering sweepstakes for profit is to understand the rules. Every valid sweepstakes is required to have “Official Rules”. These rules are the guidelines you’ll have to following in order to win. It would be unfortunate for you to win a sweepstakes, only to find out later you were disqualified because you didn’t follow the fine print. Understanding the “Official Rules” and knowing what to look for is indispensable knowledge for a novice sweeper. Sweepstakes Restrictions You’ll first want to look for sweepstakes restrictions in the official rules. Restrictions outline who may participate in the sweepstakes and who may not. Here are common restrictions: Age Range – The majority of sweepstakes require that the individual be 18 years old or older. However, there are some sweepstakes that target children, and only children of a certain age group can enter. There are also other sweepstakes targeted at senior citizens in retirement. You’ll need to make sure you’re in the proper age group before entering the drawing. Place of Residence – Some sweepstakes are restricted to people living in a certain area. There are very few sweepstakes that allow people from all over the world to enter. In most cases sweepstakes will be limited by a person country of residence. However, in some cases sweepstakes are only available to people living in a certain state, county, or city. Gender - Certain sweepstakes only allow males, or only allow females to enter. You’ll need to make sure there are no gender restrictions. In a lot of cases you’ll be given clues about gender restrictions. For instance, if the sponsor of the sweep is a feminine hygiene company, one might assume that they are only targeting females. You’ll always want to check the official rules to be sure. Affiliation - This restriction wont apply to most people, but its worth mentioning. If you or a family member is an employee of the of the sweepstakes sponsor, you may not be eligible to enter. The official rules will often state that anyone with ties or affiliations with the company will be disqualified. ---Series Table of Contents Links, To Be Added Later ------
