Parenting Tips for the New Parent
By Richard Moore
--Parenting Tips-- Get Your Parenting Guide Here! The new parent often dreams about their newborn baby. Of course, if you've never been a mother or a father before, becoming a new parent can be rather scary. Here are some tips on becoming a new parent, and how NOT to freak out over the little things. Number One: Newborn babies will cry. Many times they will cry for reasons you cannot understand. Remember, to be patient always, as your little baby is innocent and sweet and needs a nurturing parent to love on them. Number Two: In case of a crying newborn, who is hard to settle, try these things: A.Try feeding the baby. B.Try burping the baby. C.Try changing the babies diaper. D.Try bouncing the baby in your lap, or rocking the baby in a chair. E.Try bathing the baby in a nice warm bath. F.If all else fails, take the baby on a car ride, this puts most babies into a nice sleep. Number Three: It is okay to lay your baby down. I know when I became a new parent, I felt like I needed to hold my little one as much as possible, so she knew that I loved her. While cuddling is to be treasured, and is wonderful, still take time for yourself. This brings me to my next point: Number Four: Take time for yourself. While you will be wrapped up in your new baby, always take time for yourself. A happy parent makes a happy baby! Number Five: Don't forget to stop, and take in the moment. The first few months of your babies' life will fly by. All of a sudden he or she will be a year old, and you will wonder where the time went. So take as many pictures as you can, and treasure every moment of it! Get Your Parenting Guide Here!
